In 1964, the Beatles
played a short set at Municipal Stadium in Kansas City during their
first tour in the United States.
Ken White didn't have to attend the
concert by those four British lads back in 1964, but his teen-age
daughters were fans of the new group that was on tour.
Besides, the newspaper, the Independence
Examiner, had sent him to a news conference earlier that day to
take photographs, and the boys had given him free tickets for the
evening's performance.
That night, while his daughters sat
in the front row and swooned over the band as it played at Municipal
Stadium in Kansas City, White was on stage, snapping photos.
